For years, non-medical investors have been allowed to buy up the once physician-owned medical practices and run the newly created medical care centres like purely commercial enterprises - with one goal - profit and return on investment.
We experienced these changes over the years and could witness how the patients slowly became numbers and how our job looked more and more like that of the assembly line worker in a factory.
We want to break with this and offer medicine the way we would like it to be - respectful, personal, stress-free and contemporary. We want to break out of the hamster wheel and go new ways.
